Connecting Two Worlds

As an IT Engineer and AI Strategist, I spend my days analyzing data and building logical systems. As a musician, I spend my nights translating emotion into melody. It’s a fascinating and powerful experience when those two worlds collide.

I recently released a personal project; a song called “Even the Fire Gets Cold”—with a very specific message for the leaders, encouragers, and “helpers” in our communities; those who give so much of themselves, yet often experience burnout. I’m still analyzing the data, but the initial results have been astounding.

  • The “Case Study” Results
In less than a week, the song has organically reached over 77,000 people globally. This tells me the core message found its “product-market fit”! It resonated deeply with the intended audience of caregivers, leaders, and community pillars.
  • The Strategic Challenge
However, this rapid global growth has highlighted a classic strategic challenge: converting broad reach into sustainable, localized metrics. For a creator on YouTube, sustainability is tied to platform goals that are geo-specific (in this case, to the US). It’s a textbook example of “vanity metrics” (global views) versus the metrics that build a sustainable foundation.
  • The Professional “Ask” / Invitation
This is where the intersection of my professional and creative journeys gets really interesting, and I’d be honored to have my professional network be a part of it.

If you’re interested in the data behind audience building, the strategy of content creation, or if the song’s message about preventing burnout in our strongest team members resonates with you, I invite you to take a look. For those in the US, letting the video play through provides a direct and meaningful data point for this project’s sustainability goal.

  • Concluding Insight – The Takeaway
This project has been a powerful reminder that whether you’re engineering a new system or writing a chorus, understanding your audience and your “why” is the foundation for everything else. Thank you for supporting all facets of my professional journey.
